It was a very last minute request during the pandemic, but I had to say yes knowing that so many students were going through a difficult time.
In partnership with Their Opportunity we created a 6 week mental health series for kids (ideal for ages 7-14). These videos teach about what mental health is (and isn't), how to cope, and what to do if a friend is struggling. Several techniques to manage mental health are taught and modeled, and at the end of each session, students will be assigned a practice task or skills challenge, to further reinforce new skills.
